In the dagda system, during an Act 2 quest, Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos stops responding often (although erratically) in the Dagda system. This near-immediately follows very heavy spam: fixme:d3d:state_wrap (WINED3D_RS_WRAP0) Texture wrapping not yet supported. fixme:d3d:state_wrap (WINED3D_RS_WRAP0) Texture wrapping not yet supported.
No other output. Attached is a game save state that will get to the issue quickly.

--- Comment #1 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for over a year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.37 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.37 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).

--- Comment #4 from Joe Terwilliger jolyon@nixbox.com --- Created attachment 53718 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=53718 Everquest Texture Wrap Error Log Snip
Similar problem with recent Everquest Live builds have been crashing with texture wrap error spam in console followed by malloc error, some times it crashes, sometimes it hangs and spams log file.
Attached is a snip from a hang incident, had to kill process, so no deadbeef.

--- Comment #5 from Joe Terwilliger jolyon@nixbox.com --- Ahh, forgot to mention the Wine version for last comment: 1.9.2. But it's been happening with several other versions over the past 4 months or so, from 1.7.44 onward. I also tried rolling back to the stable versions for Everquest Live in the appdb and have had the same error crash.
Crash usually happens while in highly detailed or populated hub zones (Plane of Knowledge crashes often.) Or when sitting idle (not moving) for a few minutes in any zone. It's definitely related to textures, sometimes I will be playing in one part of a zone, then run to a trading camp I was just at to sell loot and when I get near the NPC characters, portions of their skin or armor will appear red or rainbow colored and the game will crash with unable to malloc errors in the console after a unholy spam of: fixme:d3d:state_wrap (WINED3D_RS_WRAP0) Texture wrapping not yet supported.
I swear this wasn't happening at all up until a few months ago with a new EQ update, then the crashes began. I've tried turning graphics settings way down/off in EQ to no avail.
I wish there was a better way to debug this one, because it seems to have popped up more than once in the wine bug archives.

The warp spam shouldnt happen anymore. Could you test 1.8, 1.9 or 2.0 series of wine if it has fixed anything?
The higher the number the more patches are merged in.
