Bug ID: 42300 Summary: DX-Ball - Fullscreen doesn't redraw Product: Wine Version: 2.0-rc6 Hardware: x86 URL: http://www.blitwise.com/Scorched_Reality/DXBall19.EXE OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: dark.shadow4@web.de Distribution: ---
The game works fine with virtual desktop, but in fullscreen it doesn't redraw. The sounds play, but the screen isn't updated and only shows the earliest part of the menu.
Using mesa 13.0.3 with a Radeon R9 285.

--- Comment #2 from Bruno Jesus 00cpxxx@gmail.com --- Works fine in Mesa 13 with Intel graphics board (i965)

--- Comment #3 from Fabian Maurer dark.shadow4@web.de --- Created attachment 57023 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=57023 Screenshot from apitrace
Thanks for testing, I figured it could be mesa, but I'm not sure.
I made an apitrace, but it replays fine, even with mesa. qapitrace shows me only a single frame. When replaying, the top half is the image is static, while the lower half is how it should look like. Looks like a frontbuffer/backbuffer issue again.
An idea what's the issue? It does work in virtual desktop after all. Should I just report it to mesa?

--- Comment #4 from Fabian Maurer dark.shadow4@web.de --- Did some more testing, it works with LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1, so I assume a radeonsi issue. Although it does work randomly, even without LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE...
Reported the bug over at mesa: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99528
