Bug ID: 35190 Summary: MegaMari: v1.61 slower than v1.5.16 Product: Wine Version: 1.6.1 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: _vi@list.ru Classification: Unclassified
MegaMari ( http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=14196 ) runs more or less fine with wine-1.5.16 (build from source code), but runs too slow with Debian-provided wine-1.6.1.
It looks the same we as if run with wine-1.5.16 on slow Inet Atom computer - CPU-bound.

--- Comment #1 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for over a year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.37 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.37 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).

--- Comment #2 from super_man@post.com --- This bug report doesnt have much value without regression testing. Also the bug should be tried against 1.7 series of wine. It might already be fixed.

--- Comment #3 from _vi@list.ru --- On v1.7.46 it is also slow.

--- Comment #5 from winetest@luukku.com --- You said that you build wine from source. Then you should be able to do regression testing. See WINE FAQ for details. It would point the exact commit that broke the speed. This is just quesswork without commit id.

--- Comment #6 from _vi@list.ru --- The problem may be not important anymore. With wine 1.8.5 it also works better.

The problem may be not important anymore. With wine 1.8.5 it also works better.
Have you upgraded hardware meanwhile that could impact the speed? If you think this is fixed, mark it so.
