--- Comment #1 from Tom Hackers tomhackers@gmail.com --- As a workaround I just made "quartz" disabled in my clean prefix of grisaia and advanced through the plot by simply skipping movie this way.
Without workaround I can confirm that it freezes.

--- Comment #2 from Justin Soulia rockinup1231@gmail.com --- Created attachment 48712 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=48712 +quartz log wine-1.7.19
This is still a problem in wine-1.7.19. I attached a log including quartz which includes loading the game, viewing three slides and then having the game attempt to display video, but I don't think there is enough information there to determine the source of the problem. Still investigating.
VideoWindow_NotifyOwnerMessage was spammed quite a bit but mostly because I moved the mouse cursor around in the window while it was supposed to display video, just before terminating the process.

--- Comment #3 from Justin Soulia rockinup1231@gmail.com --- Wait, I'm blind. I found the problem:
fixme:quartz:MPEGSplitter_query_accept MPEG-1 system streams not yet supported.
Unfortunately, installing ffdshow doesn't fix the problem because quartz still doesn't support such streams. Installing native quartz causes a crash.
