Not a winedbg issue, it's most likely riched.

Can you please provide a full log, aka terminal output?

This is probably fixed by commit 0762f6726cbf33eff95e9ecbf7be4761c651eeec
Please retest with a version of Wine >= 6.1

If that still fails, we'll need a +richedit log.

Clampfit running

Downloaded application from here.
https://support.moleculardevices.com/s/article/Axon-pCLAMP-10-Electrophysiol...

Tested with Wine 10.9 on Ubuntu 22.04 running on VMware.

created new 32bit prefix.
Windows version used: Windows 7.

Application installs and starts.

After application is installed HASP HL is being installed and this fails.

There is message box with corrupted text shown, attached screen shot.
After this there is second message box shown with following message:
Installation ended prematurely because of an error.
