Faulty behavior of VideoRedo as described in summary. Crash log is  attched

VideoRedo Verions observed: 2.5.5.512 and several older versions

Other environmental information see crash log.

Your wine version is too outdated. Upgrade and retry.

new backtrace with latest staging

Retested as you suggested with latest staging, VideoRedo shows the same
behaviour as described earlier.

Don't know. Currently using Ubuntu 3.0-1ubuntu1 from Ubuntus repositories since
the rest works fine so far I'm with "never change a running system" :-)

The bug has changed, as there are no more crashes, so I can repeatedly continue
edditing. However the final result-reporting window of VideoRedo is allways
empty. My workaround is, to have a look at the log file.
