Sniper scope in Commandos 3 is incorrectly rendered (see attached screenshot).
This can be reproduced on all versions of wine, both in full version of the
game and the demo (training mission).

I can confirm this bug. In my case the rest of the screen is rendered
incorrectly too, but only when using the sniper scope.

As explained as a comment by HoNgO in the game page in AppDb
(http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=6719), this bug
as an issue.

It worked for me using Ubuntu 10.10 and wine 1.2.2
May be it should help to solve (or close) this bug ?

Adding "DefaultDepth 16" to my xorg.conf file did indeed fix the problem. I do
not think however that this could be considered a proper fix for WINE.

The DefaultDepth parameter makes The Elder Scrolls 4 : Oblivion crash at
startup. I suspect other games may be broken by that parameter.

Still present in WINE 1.3.22

running the game in 16 bit color mode causes other graphics in the game to
degrade although it fixes sniper scope and loading screen graphics glitch.

waiting for this bug to be fixed very soon.

Its fixed on my osx snowleopard system in 1.3.34. Also the load screen renders
correctly, was messed up too before.
