Hello folks,

might be a MAC driver issue.
I can't reproduce this with Fedora 19.
The game starts/plays fine here either full screen or virtual desktop mode .

Alpha Protocol with Patch 1.1 which removes online activation/DRM scheme.

Tidbit: your log shows that ngen service is updating GAC at the time the game
starts (which eats considerable CPU time) ... did you install .NET Framework?
AFAIK there is no .NET needed for the game.
I installed the game in clean 32-bit prefix without any winetricks recipes
(also no Mono present).

$ wine --version
wine-1.7.7-262-g30a3e9c

Not a mac driver issue. Tested with both x11 and mac driver.

Yes I installed NET 2.0 through winetricks.

Hello again,

I tried this again after a while with wine 1.7.22, without mono and without
.NET on Mavericks 10.9.4. and I got the same result.

I've talked to other users, and apparently it works on Nvidia cards, but not
ATI and Intel Cards. I think it may have something to do with Apple's drivers,
so does that mean this goes upstream?
