Regression testing showed that Crysis Demo does not start because of this
patch:

This demo is a large download and it's pretty late here, so I'm going to have
to look into this issue in the morning.  I would, however, like to double check
that this happens with the single player demo (the link you attached) as this
patch only touches network-related code.

This issue should be fixed in the latest git, please give it a try and let me
know if you have any trouble.
