Created an attachment (id=8466) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=8466) Finereader 9 Terminal Error Messages
Hi, I already posted a bug about FineReader, but I made a misstake, so here is the right Bug:
When installing Finereader 9 the Installation Wizards stops suddenly shortly before the ending when the message is something like: Installing Services
The Error Log in the Terminal is below in the attachment. I have already tried to fix the problem by reinstalling wine, but the problem exists furthermore.

Never EVER run Wine as root! Remove your ~/.wine directory, and retry again. Not critical

--- Comment #5 from Andrew wine@flight.us 2008-11-20 15:33:11 --- FWIW:
The FineReader 9.0 Professional Edition installation also failed for me on a 32-bit Fedora 9 (which struck down my hope that it was a 64-bit issue)
(It also failed for me on a 64-bit Fedora 9 as well (wine-core-1.0-1.fc9))
The screen goes away (crashes) a couple of seconds after the message "installing new services" appears over (under?) the progress bar (which appears roughly 35% colorized)
Thanks
Andrew

--- Comment #30 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
dupe of bug 10365
Nasty one ... took me some good hours to figure out what's going on. Tracing of MSI doesn't reveal it - you have to debug multiple custom actions in sequence.
The DRM scheme/license manager installation breaks because some dll instance data is not reset during runtime of multiple custom actions.
NOTE: The service installation still won't fully work if custom action dlls are forced to unload in between custom action entry point calls - but that's another bug ;-)
