Summary: Config Wine audio test crashes Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: charlemagneb@comcast.net
Problem: On attempting to config audio, I initially get the 'There is no audio driver currently specified in the registry...' error message. I initially selected the EsounD driver, and upon hitting the 'test' button, the application froze, did not respond to a wait, then had to be terminated. I repeated ALSA and OSS drivers with the same exact results.
Hardware: AMD Athlon64, Award Bios V1.8, Audio is RealTek ALC850.
Software: Ubuntu 8.04, Wine (don't know off-hand, but downloaded today)
Ubuntu, using whatever drivers it loads, plays audio just fine.
