Ah how could I miss that. That fixes the problem too. But it means Torchlight isn't anymore Platinum.

Someone should change version of Wine to 1.1.36 as in this version the problem began. If that would be the case then I wouldn't have to run time consuming regression test to find out what went wrong with Wine 1.1.36.
"mmdevapi" should be set to "disabled" under "Libraries" tab in "Wine configuration"

Because right now it causes a lot of problems with a lot of games. Sure, it isn't a big thing for users to disable it, so from that standpoint you could argue against disabling it by default. But if we were to disable it by default, it would also not be a big thing for users to enable it, if they want the functionality it provides. (what does it provide right now?) I just think that we shouldn't deliver a version which leads to buggy games until you change the configuration. Since so many games are affected by this, I think it would be the right thing to disable it by default, until it has had some more work.
