[Bug 24473] New: IRPF Bolsa software doesn't work

The installation goes normal, but when I try to open the software it shows the
window "program error". Windows encountered a serious error etc (attached). The
software is a tax calculator for stock market in Brazil.

It looks like the program required the MDAC 2.8 components and the Jet engine,
which I installed with winetricks mdac28 jet40. After that, I seem to get a
crash in urlmon/mshtml, which I worked around by installing ie6 from
winetricks. I'll attach the resulting backtrace.

Thanks for helping. I didn't attached the error message because of an internet
problem that wasn't allowing it.

Well, let's see if I understood rightly, after you installed winetricks mdac28
jet40 and i6 it worked great, is that it?

As far as I could tell, yes, although I only started the program and tried a
menu option or two.

While I'm glad that the workarounds helped you, nothing was fixed in Wine, and
there's still legitimate defects that this bug report pertains to, so I'm
reopening this bug.

The application still does not work without winetricks ie7 in wine 1.6-rc3.

winetricks -q mdac28 jet40 is enough to get this starting.

I didnt try those seperately.

Hello folks,

since 'winetricks ie6/7' is no longer required, resolving 'FIXED'.

Although MDAC/JET are required prerequisites, the bug was about crash in Wine
builtin urlmon/mshtml (comment #2, comment #9).
