[Bug 20889] New: In Quake 3 Arena Main Menu one mouse click is taken as two

In Quake 3 Arena Main Menu one mouse click is taken as two. For example, if
clicked "Fight" in "Single Player"-menu, it will skip "Difficulty
Level"-screen, because "Fight"-buttons are on exactly the same position and one
mouse click is taken as two. It will go straight to the battle.

Pressing "Enter" from keyboard is taken as only one press as it should be and
it's currently the only workaround.

Tested:

- Changing "mouse sensitivity"/"clicking sensitivity"-options in game or Gnome.
- Tried different mouse settings in Quake 3 Arena's config file.

This problem is also with Wine 1.0.1.

I definitely saw this kind of bug report (one click works like doubleclick),
but can not find it now... And for sure i also noted this behavior in AppDB (in
Additional Comments):

but can not confirm this now in 1.1.34, i.e. works for me (tested Quake 3
versions: 1.11 and 1.32)

PS: why don't you create link between AppDB and this bug report?

I just found it :) it's bug 14247 which was closed based on my report. It's
working for me now.

Atiitto, could you look at bug 14247 and try to reproduce based on my comments?

In 1.0.1, there is no way to fix it.

In 1.1.33 and 1.1.34 changing "Smooth Mouse"-setting 1 - 2 times worked.

Hmmm... Still can't reproduce the double click problem again, i.e. Quake 3
works for me. Tested under wine-1.1.35-105-gd4a7a9d.

I'm experiencing this bug on wine-1.7.13 and quake3 1.32c.
