I manage to go through all the screens in the install wizard after wine
'uTorrent.exe' up until the "Installing uTorrent" screen where the progress bar
is stuck on 0

I checked whether anyone else is having this issue on AppDB and the status
seems to be Silver with no hitches on install.

Confirming the hang. Maybe they installed dotnet; I tried and after "winetricks
dotnet48" it installs very quickly. Can you confirm  that?

Not sure if this is really related to mono,

I did "winetricks --force dotnet48". The install seems to complete now, but I
am unable to launch it. Clicking on the generated .lnk file seems to open Wine
Windows Program Loader, but it quits after trying to load for a short while.
