Terminal log

When I open Krita, then I see loading screen and when loading ends black
screen.
Seems that interface works fine, because it shows menu etc. but only shows
black screen.

Tested Krita version -
https://download.kde.org/stable/krita/4.2.9/krita-x64-4.2.9.zip

PC Specs
Ubuntu 20.04
GTX 970 - Nvidia 440
Wine 5.8 develop

Confirming

Black screen is gone for me when disabling libglesv2, e.g.

WINEDLLOVERRIDES=libglesv2=d wine krita.exe

or disable libglesv2 in wincfg under librarytab

@OP: Could you try the above and report back please. If the bug is gone then
please resolve as duplicate of https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44985

Yup, disabling libglesv2 fixed black screen

Hello folks,

I don't think this is a dupe of bug 44985

For me it starts working after 'winetricks -q d3dcompiler_43'. It's likely a
dupe of one of the gazillion d3d compiler bugs reports which are mostly dupes
themselves.

$ wine --version
wine-5.8-173-g9e26bc8116
