Hi,

I successfully installed the Vsphere Hypervisor Esxi under its version
5.5.0-1618071.
I do the necessary for the hcmon.sys bug.
I have a shortcut of Vsphere on my desktop (ubuntu utopic) that launch vsphere
and permits me to connect to my Dedibox (Online.net).

My problem is about the launching of a VM because the console (vmrc) does not
connect with this error message : 
La console VMRC a été déconnectée. Tentative de reconnexion...

I found some solutions from Google investigations however I can't launch this
VM wich is a new VM added with a ISO image store in datastore (debian7). I have
added enought executable rights on this .iso file in case it could blocked the
console but I don't think it could be linked to my problem.

Have you some ideas, ideas of investigations i can make to solve this ?

Wine version? Please attach terminal output.

That said, why are you running VMWare under Wine? It's unlikely to work, and
there is a native solution..

Wine 1.7.31

I was used to drive my VM with vsphere hypervisor on Windows Systems and I
failed to use vEman on my Linux...I never tried Wine so it was an opportunity
:)

What solution do you suggest ?

Sorry, error of me, VMWare Player is only used to drive VM on the host.
I need to manage my VM on my dedicated server...

I have already read it yes thank you :), after that information I was thinking
about Wine solution. 
But now I get it, It's just impossible to use vpshere hypervisor anywhere than
on a windows machine. So i get back on it only for creating VM and
administrating the esxi host.

On my linux I simply now use virt-manager (Virtual Machine Manager).

It will be nice if the vrmc (of vsphere hypervisor) could work one day with
Wine.

Well, it's hard for us to fix it without any logs, as I requested in comment
#1.

Oops sorry...I was thinking you only wanted the wine version before more
I am not sure about the log you want, I Launch vsphere from a shortcut on the
desktop (placed here after vsphere installation), I have enabled debugging with
warn and some other channels tried without finding nothing about vmrc, for
example : 
WINEDEBUG=+warn,+trace wine Launcher/VpxClient.exe &>/tmp/debug_pipe

Where is the place to get the log you want ?

Detail : The error message "vmrc console has disconnected..." is displayed by
the program (vsphere hypervisor) itself from a tooltip, is Wine able to catch
such "user" exception ?

What you're trying to do (running VSphere Hypervisor) won't work with Wine
(usermode) by design. Ever.
