Death to Spies Moment of Truth fails to start. I get errors and a crash popup. Only overrides are the norms for steam and the d3dx9, vcrun2005 override combo.

It's crashing when trying to play the intro videos if audio is enabled in TruthSetup.exe. If you disable audio in the configuration tool then the game simply skips the intro videos so you can get in the menus, but it will crash when displaying the mission briefing.

confirming, can be reproduced with both: Steam release and non-Steam demo.
First: Don't put too many unnecessary overrides into prefix (DirectX9)! This makes bug reports almost useless and complicates the deduction of the actual problem.
For the 'TruthSetup.exe' tool (tweak graphics settings) you need only 'MFC80U.DLL' from MSVC++ 2005 runtime.

With that part installed the crash is gone and intro video plays fine.

So I was able to play the first mission. No idea, if the whole game runs perfect (that's th reason why I didn't submit any testdata to appdb). Anastasius approach to install d3dcompiler_43 resulted in unreadable characters during the mission briefing.
