I saw LINE's updater running after I updated WINE so I am unable to tell you which LINE I have now because it crashes, as well as whether it is Wine's problem or LINE's. I attached the error log.

--- Comment #1 from Fabian Maurer dark.shadow4@web.de --- Can you please add a download, if available? It crashes in wine code, this should not happen.

--- Comment #2 from badflagello badflagello@hotmail.it --- As May 2019 https://line.me/en-US/download is the official way to install it, however it seems that for Windows the only option to install is through the windows store (at the least that's what I see).
When I installed it many months ago you could simply download the normal .exe, and kept it up-to-date thanks to the in-app updates, so I don't know if the version from Windows store changes wine's behavior or not.
It seems that https://line.en.softonic.com/ has the regular .exe bypassing the store
1 click free download for windows green button 2 Click "continue to download" green button under "Alternative LINE download from external server (availability not guaranteed)" 3 .exe should popup.
Note that the version you will get is 5.16.2.1932
Which is what I assume I am running, as I aforementioned I think LINE updated has well before WINE launched the normal app.
If I find a way to confirm I am running 5.16.2.1932 I will let you know.

--- Comment #3 from Louis Lenders xerox.xerox2000x@gmail.com --- Hi, I can confirm there`s a crash but mine looks a bit different, see below. For me it`s really a duplicate of bug 47255.
@reporter of bug: If you compile wine yourself could you try if reverting db201072655946662c041a66ee434c30c245e5b0 fixes the crash?
As your crash looks a bit different (then mine) let`s not yet resolve as duplicate

--- Comment #4 from badflagello badflagello@hotmail.it --- Hi Louis I got some new info. When Line crashes I get the option to see the error message or to click or click ok and dismiss the error popup. If I click ok after a few seconds a second pop-up appears. I attach a screenshot of that.
