While looking at the log, you can see, at the end of the file, that when I
disconnect the controller there's a strange error "rawinput error 2", but in
the beginning it says something about an unimplemented function of xinput

This is a problem because the software can't even see the controller, while
it's plugged in, thus can't do its job: search for a newer firmware and update
it.
