I have tested wine-1.1.38 with Oblivion on Gentoo and I found that the sound
effects are no more being played. 
It seems that it was a regression on wine, since this problem didn't appeared
on the earlier releases.
Even in wine-1.1.37 the game was nearly perfection with feel major bugs.
I don't think that this is a problem with my Gentoo installing, because I was
playing Oblivion without this bug since the last installation and I haven't
made any changes on the system, only updating wine.

Same for Fallout 3 which uses basically the same game engine. Anyone got a
quick patch? I've got some Super Mutants here that need to be taught a lesson.
