Summary: Audiosurfs main menus displays incorrectly Product: Wine Version: 1.0-rc4 Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ninja.gofer@gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=13952) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=13952) Game Menu 1
In windowed mode, the games graphics for the main menu is not resized to the size of the window. The buttons can still be clicked as if they were in there original position, in other words you have to hover the mouse above button graphic till its highlighted. Also, if you change from fullscreen to windowed the game graphics are not resized in the window.
The in-game song browser displays all the song names on the same line, making it very difficult to select a song. Unsure though if this is related to the above problem.
Note, these issues are reproducible in the demo version that is available on steam.

--- Comment #5 from Oisin O Malley ninja.gofer@gmail.com 2008-08-19 10:43:05 --- I have retested with latest git and this bug is still present.
I have found the you can resize the window to the size of the graphics. This causes the graphics and input to be realined so you can directly click on buttons ect.
Also I have noticed that changeing the resolution in the options menu will only work in fullscreen mode. Trying to chancge it in windowed mode does nothing.
Is there any other info I can provide to help get this fixed?

--- Comment #9 from himynameiszachandiamapirate@gmail.com 2009-04-10 08:38:26 --- My apologies, I just woke up and read this as the text error with the menu font. THIS bug is definitely still present. I can't see any way to delete my comment, but if someone could delete it, that would be spectacular. Sorry about that!

--- Comment #11 from Arkadiusz Piekarz piekarzarkadiusz@gmail.com 2009-10-15 16:13:14 --- Yes, this bug is still present with Wine 1.1.31.
The menu initially displays in the window and only in the part of it. As said in the comment #5, if you resize the window to match the size of the game, you can easily use all the buttons in it and also change to fullscreen mode, which works perfectly well :-)

--- Comment #13 from Arkadiusz Piekarz piekarzarkadiusz@gmail.com 2010-05-27 17:28:16 --- I tested Audiosurf and couldn't get past the first loading screen, because the "OK" button didn't react to the mouse or keyboard presses. So I can't tell if the bug with the menu is still present or not. I'll file a new bug for the loading screen.

This is actually a similar problem to this bug; the region that the "OK" button seems to occupy is not the region that responds to mouse clicks. To get past the loading screen, you have to click in a magic spot to the left of the "OK" button. The main menus suffer from the same problem, which I think is what this bug describes.

You have still a bug like in pictures? I don't have it, but the game in Window can't be clicked (mouse doesn't work in Windows mode), if You have this bug, you should report a new bug and this bug should be closed.
