Wine 5 is ancient. Upgrade to Wine 9.9 and try again.

If it still crashes then attach the console output.

Hello,

Please put a link to the application, because there are several
official/unofficial Minecraft launchers and we don't know which one you're
reporting against.

Also, please try a workaround from bug 32342 (winetricks arial)

The official launcher works fine for me with Wine 9.3 + arial workaround.
The game client fails to run, though. (javaw.exe hangs with 100% CPU usage and
the game is stuck), but that's an unrelated issue.
