Not be an Ace or any thing but not sure what it is prob just my computer but
wine 1.4 is 3X faster then 1.7.1. on the speed not sure if that 1.7 could be
more stable then 1.4 but just a little heads up.

Nintendo 64 Emulator (Project64) so fare as i found that 1.7 run's VERY SLOW on

And mainly it looks like its just the Emulator cause it does it to just about
any game of Nintendo 64.

Done tryed that alot but this is All i get.

wine: cannot find L"C:\windows\system32\Project64.exe"

Like it dont even see it but i know for 100% it is Installed.
But just woundering do u need 1.7.1. to get the Info from it properly

You are trying to run the application from the wrong directory. Be sure to CD
to the directory before running the app.

To CD to a directory with a space in the name the easiest way is to use "",
example:

cd "~/home/darkangel/Project64 2.0/"

Sorry still same problem sorry to give ya a hard time but did every way 1 can
actually can do but wont work at all. tryed to Drag the file into the Terminal
which is all ways a very easy way of doin it tryed to CD it but what ever i do
it dont accept it like Wine dont even know it is even there. But will Try out
other Nintendo 64 Emulators on Wine see if its all the same problem there's
about 11 more Nintendo 64 Emulators ima sure at least 1 will work out

Sonic Heroes and Sonic Adventure DX And Silent Hill 3 run very slow and Sonic
CD wont even boot now so yes somthing is wrong with wine because everything
runs fine on 1.4 but i need 1.7 to run Silent hill 3

Ive tested the emu on my cpu and it does run slow on newer wine versions so I
can guess this issue is universal. but it won't hurt anyone running a modern
CPU as the effects aren't as harsh.

I dont know how last time i tried (Using instruction you gave me) to run a
regression test things got all mixed up so sorry im useless to this extent but
if im correct and this is universal you can run a test yourself. you may not
get a lag because you have a more modern CPU.

Try wine 1.7.5 performance is back but you may need to reconfigure pj64 again
as wine is having trouble at the moment reading config files correctly. I think
this issue is solved. FOR NOW
