You should install these both with winetricks.

Yes, but neither of these are to do with the core issue.

MFC42: ID3 means ID3 tags, as in MP3s. As the other name suggests, the other DLL is used for the XBox360 controller plug-in. If Construct depended on either of these DLLs it would not start but WINE would instead report a missing DLL error.

--- Comment #9 from Juan Lang juan_lang@yahoo.com 2010-02-11 12:02:38 --- How did you install it? After I install it, when I try to run it, I get: err:module:import_dll Library XAPOFX1_1.dll (which is needed by L"C:\Program Files\Scirra\Construct\Construct.exe") not found
Please say how you installed it so someone can confirm.

Can't remember if I got that error message or not (installed it via WINE), but if I did I'd manually copied across the missing DLL (related to XAudio2) from the Windows partition.

That kinda gets in the way of confirming, at least for me ;-)

--- Comment #12 from Juan Lang juan_lang@yahoo.com 2010-02-12 14:41:33 --- What happens if you install it on latest Wine? If it fails to start like I'm seeing, perhaps you could open a separate bug for that.
