greedytorrent traceback

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and Greedytorrent does not work, just gives an error
message, inits the UI and thats all.

I hadn`t used Greedytorrent for a while (since I was running Ubuntu 8.10) so
I`m not sure if this is a wine regression or my installation fault.

Try an earlier Wine version (say 1.0.1).  If it runs, you'll need to run a
regression test.

I think fundamentally this is a duplicate of bug 14455; the only difference
here is the presence of the GUI crash dialog.

I do not think this is a duplicate since greedytorrent does not work in any
way.
Virtual Desktop or not.

Last but not least, ppl plz confirm this bug if you are experiencing something
similar.

The backtraces are identical so the cause is very likely to be the same. I get
it here as well.

Here using a virtual desktop works. Running with some debug options helps also,
so there may be some timing (race) condition.

I notice that the program uses the system tray. Can that be switched off
somehow?

I was always using the tray without problems. It works even when the program
shows the debug window. Also tried to disable it through regedit but there
where no obvious key to change.

OK just I reinstalled Greedy Torrent and now it works fine with Virtual
Desktop.
