Here are the steps needed to finish the installation starting with an fresh .wine directory: 1. winetricks dotnet20 2. winetricks vcrun2005sp1 3. wine acidpro70c.exe 4. Go into the directory %Programfiles%\Sony Setup\ACID Pro 7.0 and run wine WMFDist11-WindowsXP-x86-ENU.exe 5. run the attached file in regedit 6. wine acidpro70c.exe

The console output looks completely different than the output from the output in 1.1.21. However, the result is the same.

The installer for Sony Acid Pro 7.0e Trial is erroring out with 'Requirements not met. Press OK to Exit Install' when trying to install Microsoft WMF 11. Installing Dotnet 3 via winetricks doesn't help (it's mentioned in the release notes for Acid Pro that DotNet 3 is required).

Wine reports CSDVersion: 0x400 (1024) by default hence the behaviour of returning STATUS_SP_VERSION_GREATER is expected (do not apply hotfix/update).
Looks like Acid Pro 7.0 installer doesn't know about this special return/exit code 0x8007f06b and treats it as error (typical QA problem).
Search engine results contain several reports for Windows systems too which might indicate a broken app installer.
