adobe reader crash backtrace

After installing Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on a 32 bits windows 7 prefix, with
mspatcha and riched20 added (winetricks), using
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/AcrobatDC/1901220034/AcroRdrDC1901220034_en_US.exe
, Acrobat Reader starts and is able to load PDF files, but much of the text of
the UI is missing, making the software quite hard to use.

However, if I try to install some fonts using winetricks, be it with the
corefonts or allfonts package, Adobe Reader then crashes on startup with the
attached backtrace.

Hi,

I can confirm the crash in Staging-4.9. I don`t have vanilla wine-4.9 installed
so cannot test

However in current git the crash does not appear, and the reader starts fine.

About the missing text: I think because it needs Segoe font, or whatever it is
called. If i copy from my windows drive c:\Windows\Fonts\seg* to
~/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/ then there`s text in the menu`s in right panel

@Reporter of bug: Could you try in new released wine-4.10 and report back if
the crash is fixed for you?

If so, maybe we should reserve this report for missing font.

Sorry for the late answer, Wine 4.10 took a while to get to the Arch repos.

After testing, the crash seems to have disappeared in 4.10 (and also 4.11).

As for the missing fonts, installing the Segoe font does indeed fix the problem
(on Arch it can be found on the AUR bundled under the name ttf-windows, I don't
know about other distros).
