debug log from SketchUp 8

The Phototextures feature allows to import texture images from Google street
view. It uses a webdialog containing flash (right click on a face, select "get
photo textures"). SketchUp crashes immediately without Bugsplat.

I installed flash via winetricks.

There is a workaround that makes webdialogs work and is relatively stable (not
yet a solution in Wine). Then the 'photo texture' feature will run fine too.
You need to install ie8 and gecko (and flash) via winetricks and then delete
the folder 'C:/Programs/Internet Explorer' and replace it by the original
folder of Wine's Internet Explorer.

I tried this and I had to reinstall Wine

This ticket has not been updated for over 900 days. Development recommends
to check the status on your bug every release or two and let to be known if the
bug is still present. If not, mark it fixed. If you are no longer able to put
effort to this ticket, you can abandon it.

Is this still an issue with 1.7.2 or higher ?

Hello folks,

there is no crash here.

The 'Photo Textures' window has an embedded browser control which is empty
(right click for context menu).

With the crash gone (= Wine progressed) it's now a dupe of existing
mshtml/ieframe bugs.

Since the bug was about the crash, resolving 'fixed'

$ sha1sum FW-3-0-16846-EN.exe 
6c9a61fe12b21fe9a1d6b5ee1bb79f331a5fc36c  FW-3-0-16846-EN.exe

$ du -sh FW-3-0-16846-EN.exe 
35M    FW-3-0-16846-EN.exe

$ wine --version
wine-1.7.21-19-g8812193
