Summary: Can't install games with keycode. Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ae_7fam@yahoo.com
I tried installing Age of Empires 3 onto my computer. I get stuck at the screen prompting for the code. I put it in. When I click OK, it comes up with a dialog box saying "Error loading PID Gen DLL: The file could not be found!" Same thing happens if I input wrong code.
Any and all help is appreciated.

As for the end of my last comment, our connection isn't the best, and sometimes drops off. It should be "actually" as the last word

--- Comment #5 from Vincent Povirk madewokherd@gmail.com 2009-09-10 19:12:19 --- I assume you're double-clicking an .exe currently. The command-line equivalent is
$ wine start /unix /path/to/exe/file

--- Comment #6 from ae_7fam@yahoo.com 2009-09-10 20:04:25 --- No luck on it working. However, this error code appears: err:module:import_dll Library MFC42.DLL (which is needed by L"D:\PIDGen.dll") not found
Did a search for "MFC42.dll", nothing appeared. Missing file to put in 1.1.30?
