I tried installing Age of Empires 3 onto my computer. I get stuck at the screen
prompting for the code. I put it in. When I click OK, it comes up with a dialog
box saying "Error loading PID Gen DLL: The file could not be found!" Same thing
happens if I input wrong code.

Any and all help is appreciated.

May I ask how to do that?
Just need the codes, that's all. Have terminal experience.

As for the end of my last comment, our connection isn't the best, and sometimes
drops off. It should be "actually" as the last word

I assume you're double-clicking an .exe currently. The command-line equivalent
is

$ wine start /unix /path/to/exe/file

No luck on it working. However, this error code appears:
err:module:import_dll Library MFC42.DLL (which is needed by L"D:\PIDGen.dll")
not found

Did a search for "MFC42.dll", nothing appeared. Missing file to put in 1.1.30?

You need to use winetricks (http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks) to install the
vcrun6 redist.
