Summary: Second Disk problem Product: Wine Version: 1.3.24 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: imperial.universal@sky.com
I've been trying to install several softwares under wine, I've noticed that every time when the software itself asks for the second disk I insert it as normal but the disk doesn't mount (load) - however when I cancel the installation of the software it then finally detects the disk, this is getting a bit frustrating I'm placing this as a bug since its happening to me, it's been happening for the last few months even with the earlier versions of wine & the stable version. I've already mentioned this on the Winehq forum under heading "Second CD not mounting". Is there a way round this problem (e.g under command line) or shall I wait for the bug to be fixed.

--- Comment #1 from umbrellauniversal@gmail.com 2011-07-22 10:07:17 CDT --- I've managed to get the software to detect the second cdrom disk by inserting the CD onto drive E and the main disk on Drive D under wine config file I've kept on changing the path to the correct one when the installation asked for disk 2.
