First of all you're probably using native comctl32, is that right? Try to get rid of it. Your wine version is too old, consider upgrade to recent development version.

--- Comment #4 from lenniethecube@gmail.com 2011-10-30 02:20:06 CDT --- I'm using homebrew to install and I uninstalled it and tried the latest version 1.3.31 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/wine/files/Source/ , it's giving me the errors in attachment.
Thanks!

--- Comment #5 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com 2011-10-30 02:23:21 CDT --- The fact it can't apply some third party patch (to configure script especially) has nothing to do with wine. You need to get a working build first.

--- Comment #6 from lenniethecube@gmail.com 2011-10-30 03:15:50 CDT --- ok so I did the ./tools/wineinstall command with the tar.bz2 file from the source website, it ran for a long time and now it's giving me this
Connie{ ~/Downloads }$ wine Bus error: 10
Not sure what I should do now...

--- Comment #8 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2013-11-13 16:48:21 CST --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 2 years. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.6 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.6 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).

I tried foobar player some time ago, because I tested some other bug.
