Summary: Unable to Connect to the Internet Product: Wine Version: 0.9.2. Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P3 Component: wine-binary AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: digitaltopia@gmail.com
I just updated to 0.9.2, and programs that are ran through Wine no longer are able to connect to the Internet. I did not have this issue with 0.9.1.
I'm using Mandriva 2006, and I downloaded the Mandrake / Mandriva RPM from the download page, which is how I got both 0.9.1 and 0.9.2.
First I did an RPM upgrade, but when I saw that there were connection problems, I uninstalled it and cleaned all of the various bits off my computer, then reinstalled it clean, and had the same issues. I even uninstalled it, restarted my computer, then installed it again, and installed it, restarted, then tried it again, and in every scenario, I have the same results.
