PC Suite 5 installer fails with the message:

"Error Number: 0x80040707
Description: DLL function call crashed: ISRT._WaitOnDialog

Setup will now terminate."

Clicking on OK prints this line in the console:
err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow 1836 bytes in thread 0028 eip
7bc3ba6e esp 00240c04 stack 0x240000-0x241000-0x340000
The installer remains in memory.

Pressing CTRL+C to kill the installer then prints the rest of the output:
wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000001 at address 0x7e85463a
(thread 0029), starting debugger...

"winetricks vcrun6" required to get this far.

console output from wine 1.1.38, PC Suite 6.011.00

I can confirm this bug with wine 1.1.38 and Sony Ericsson PC Suite 6.011.00.

The installer needs to be run in a virtual desktop, as per bug #19595.

err:module:import_dll Library MSVCP60.dll (which is needed by L"C:\Program
Files\Sony Ericsson\Sony Ericsson PC Suite\bvrpctln.dll") not found

Try winetricks with option vcrun6 or vcrun6sp6 (see

Still present in 1.2-rc2.

msvcrt has to be set to builtin or an unimplemented function is called, which
never used to happen.
