--- Comment #1 from Olivier F. R. Dierick o.dierick@piezo-forte.be --- PlayOnLinux is not supported here.
I don't have that issue with wine-2.5.0 from deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/debian/jessie main.
I have the fixme:wininet messages and still can connect.
Please, retry with wine-staging from winehq.org repositories and report if it does work or not.

--- Comment #2 from pablodevlinux@gmail.com --- I installed wine-2.5-staging from winehq repository. After that i copied files from older GTAV install (I didn't want to wait about 3-4 hours for installation to finish :D) and opened GTAV setup from DVDs. After install, I deleted some updates from GTAV installation folder to force game to update itself.
- Social Club updated itself after 2 re-runs.
- Social Club started downloading game updates but after few minutes it started reconnecting to Rockstar servers.
- When Social Club was downloading game updates, logs weren't showing fixme:wininet messages. But every time it lost connection logs showed 13 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW messages and the number at the end was increased every time (30000 then 60000 and then 90000). These errors are the same as included in attached log from PlayOnLinux.

--- Comment #3 from Olivier F. R. Dierick o.dierick@piezo-forte.be --- This is a duplicate of bug 42714.
The repeated disconnections is a know issue with the DVD version of the game.
Rockstar provides instructions to work around it.
You'll find them in the other bug.
