With certain applications (QuickTime 7.02.38, SlingPlayer 1.3) the mouse pointer disappears. It reappears when the installation is complete (or at random intervals).

--- Comment #3 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Hmmm.. this does still occur to some degree in Wine 4.18 but is less noticeable on a newer, faster machine because the installer completes much faster, and Bug 14026 is fixed. I'll keep an eye on it.

Not exactly. It looks like the installer from the URL has become corrupt somehow their end. The SlingPlayer URL does work properly though.
