Summary: Last Chaos: "CreateSwapChain_D3D Failed!!" Product: Wine Version: 1.1.20 Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: roothorick@new.rr.com
Created an attachment (id=20929) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=20929) Wine output
When you hit "Start", the game churns in the background a while, then blows up with the above error in a dialog box, twice, then a cryptic "Send error report?" and finally the classic "encountered a serious problem and needs to close" dialog. There's a fairly sizable list of fixme's in the output (attached). nksp.exe (appears to be the actual game binary?) never actually quits and I have to kill it from a shell.
If it's relevant, my videocard is a Radeon HD 4850 and I'm using ATI proprietary drivers. glxinfo reports the driver version as "2.1.8543 Release".
