I have run into this same issue on macOS (10.13 High Sierra) using CrossOver 17.1. It seems to occur for me if I switch to the 3D View tab and then back to the 2D View tab, after which the 2D View will no longer refresh when the view is scrolled or zoomed. If I resize the window larger, I can get the 2D View to partially refresh, but correct view behavior is broken from here on. It appears related to clipping region(s) because if I make the window larger, the area that represents the old/previous view area will remain unrefreshed (and even flicker black during the resize) but I can see part of the view contents within the "L" shaped region around the unrefreshed region, being displayed at the correct zoom and position. I'm running the VCarve Pro 9 installation in an XP bottle that was set up automatically using the "Install a Windows Application" feature in CrossOver.

--- Comment #3 from Brock Brandenberg brock@bergdesign.com --- In trying to find a workaround for this issue, I detached the 2D and 3D View tabs to make them movable and resizable windows, and it appears that the problem is related to the 3D View leaving a view rect above the 2D View window even when the 3D View window is behind the 2D View window. Some remnant from the 3D View remains on top, obscuring the 2D View and making it appear that the 2D View isn't responding properly. To work around the issue, you can make the two view tabs into windows and reduce the size of the 3D View window so that it overlaps and obscures only a tiny portion of the 2D View. This lets you effectively work in the 2D View.
