Installing goes fine until:

That looks like an InnoSetup error.  The source at
http://www.innosetup.com/isdl.php
shows that there are several things that can trigger that error,
and it's hard to tell which one it was, even with a +file,+relay log.

Also affects the no-registration-needed player,
http://www.wolfram.com/products/player/download.cgi
but there it only hits once, and ignore works.
On the full product, it hits so many times you can't complete install.

Also affects OrgaMax trial, http://www.orgamax.de/
If I skip past it with 'Ignore', the message comes up about
thirty times, and critical files (e.g. the app's .exe)
don't get installed.

Problem also happens with wine 1.1.0 and wine-1.0.1.

Nevermind about Oragamax.  Sometimes installers are right when
they say a source file is corrupt.  In this case, it looks like
I had a single byte error in the download.  Redownloading let
the orgamax install succeed.

Turns out my Mathematica Player download had a single-bit error, too.
Redownloaded and it installs fine.

I'm starting to think my computer is cursed...
