Okay, i've got it nearly starting *g* Maybe i missed some things...
First all things that have to be done until you could try to start...
Installing DirectX from Lost Planet CD:
- Nativ fusion.dll - Nativ Msvcr70.dll - Nativ MsCoree.dll
After this ones the directx version on CD will install!
Game: WMVCore.dll -> is located in the Lost Planet Folder in the steam folder!
-> Installed Windows Media Player 9 and copied the wmvcore.dll from there to the LP folder and overwritten the 24 KB file with 2 MB file!
- Nativ Quartz - Nativ devenum - Nativ wmvcore - Nativ mscat32
And now i got far away from old crash point, but got a nice crash dump/console output!
Maybe it's usefull for anyone...
Ah, before i forget about it: tried to start the dx9 version of game!

Start with all builtin Wine, and report one problem at a time you are having from the start.

game needs some nativ directx pieces, that would not be installed without dxsetup....
game doesnt start without wmvcore.dll....wmvcore.dll doesn't start without nativ quartz....and so on...
if i install only the game i hand on starting and the already known complaining from the main class, that it could not load the wmvcore.dll file!
