I recently tried Stars! with wine 1.2 and I got the same error, so I now wonder
if this is GCC 4.5.1 not compiling wine correctly(which I use for the
-march=atom).

No, same with GCC 4.4.3 using march=i686. Is there any WINEDEBUG option that
could help here?

I can no longer reproduce this bug. Guessing it was to do this wine being built
with a very unstable toolchain/system. Close as INVALID?
