Summary: Bone 1: Crashes on scene change Product: Wine Version: 1.3.14 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ezekiel000@lavabit.com
Created an attachment (id=33345) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=33345) Crash log after intro video (or scene 1)
Each time the scene changes in Bone: Out of Boneville (CD version) it crashes. I have attached crash logs for the crash after the intro (or scene 1) and after the first puzzle (or scene 2). I managed to get passed the intro crash by copying a save game from a windows machine as I thought I would only crash after the intro but I found out it crashes after each scene is completed.
Running the Xider CD release of the original Bone: Out of Boneville (not the directors cut) on Ubuntu 10.10 amd64 with Wine 1.3.14 and nVidia official drivers version 260.19.06.

--- Comment #2 from David Rogers ezekiel000@lavabit.com 2011-02-19 12:19:55 CST --- Sorry it seems that the crashes are by design, it is the copy-protection. The crashes don't happen if you have the CD in the drive. It's daft because when you load the game and a save it never asks for the CD or say it is not in the drive.
