Hello, I'm encountering an issue when I attempt to configure Wine upon opening it by typing the command 'winecfg'. I keep getting the following error. I believe that this issue might not allow me to open any .exe files. I'd be very grateful if anyone could help me out with this, please.
Yours sincerely,
Aran

Does upstream (non-staging) Wine work?
Hi Zeb, thanks for your response. No, unfortunately none of the versions of Wine from WineHq, be they Wine Staging or Wine Development, seem to work. I fail to understand why I'm always getting some kind of error when I attempt to configure Wine. Most users seem to be able to achieve at least some progress in configuring Wine and running .exe files.
