WinUAE buttons malfunction log (+loaddll,+text,+msgbox)

WinUAE is a free Commodore Amiga emulator for Windows (tested v1.440). It has a
main configuration window (Properties window) with typical control buttons on
its bottom line (Reset, Quit, Restart, Start, Cancel, Help). Emulation takes
place very well but often these buttons don't work: when any of them is pressed
the window pops down and up again into the same state as if no button has been
pressed.

Lots of .adf files (Amiga diskette images) can be downloaded from Back2Roots
site for testing. However starting the emulator requires some Kickstart ROM
files to be acquired elsewhere (Kickstart 1.3 better).

I have the same problem also. Very annoying since everything else seem to work
pretty well.

Some background on the bug:

It appears that switching the options in tree view in the properties of WinUAE
does not work either. However, the problem persists only when in winecfg a
theme is set. When no theme is used, everything is fine.

On my setup with a recent wine version 1.1.2, the buttons work fine no matter
whether the theme is used or not. The bug seems to involve only the tree view
w/ a theme.

Don't use themes they are buggy. Setting to trivial - graphical glitch with
easy workaround.

This bug is a duplicate of bug 10643:

For me this problem is still present in Wine 1.1.3, on a PC running Ubuntu
Linux 8.04. I don't have a theme set, so the bug doesn't have anything to do
with themes.

The bug severely affects the usability of WinUAE, so I think it should be
reverted to priority minor, not trivial.

Yes please do. WinUAE, in turn, makes it possible to run thousands of games and
applications for Amiga computers.
