[Bug 13169] New: Winbox doesn't work with wine 0.9.24 or later

Winbox, administrating tool for RouterOS ( http://www.mikrotik.com/ ) doesn't
work with wine 0.9.24 or later. While winbox downloading informations about
system where I'm logged, wine stoped work (winbox). Last workable version is
0.9.23. Same problem is on 32bit also 64bit Linux.

My OS is Mandriva Linux 2008.1 (64bit), but it doesn't work also on oldest
versions.

Have you tried wine 1.0-rc1? Please use a clean .wine directory.

Yes, I test it in 1.0 too. But it's same. I've deleted .wine with every tested
versions.

I don't use git. I test *.rpm from this site, from my distribution and compiled
sources.

I've discovered that problem only occurs when you try to connect to old but
still used versions of Mikrotik RouterOS like (2.9.30, 2.9.27. 2.9.34) since
2.9.40 i doesn't exists but in somecases there is still some crashes. Another
problem is that hangups are being connected to the method of connection. If you
connect to MT by MAC address it works. When you try to use normal IP connection
it hangup MT instance. I still have to use old Wine 0.9.12 to run it properly.

Hi, I have the same problem. I have Ubuntu 8.04 and Wine version 1.0 from
repository. I can't login via MAC address because I use "routing" network.
