In the Diablo III downloader under "View" -> "Connection Info" are the entries "Local Address" and "Peer ID". The first letter of these entries (L and P) are only drawn to the half and the other half is flickering if the menu refreshes its information (~every second).
Somebody has tested this on Windows and all is working fine there.

--- Comment #2 from sworddragon2@aol.com --- I have tested this now with Wine 1.7.15 and the flickering issue will now only appear every time the mouse is hovered over the half rendered letters. I have also compared this with Windows and noticed that this wrong rendered column must be centered right while it is currently centered left. Also if Peer-to-peer is disabled the text for the hint is sometimes not visible/correct rendered.

The issue still exists with Wine 1.7.25. In the attachments is the output from the terminal. Also, here ( http://eu.media.battle.net.edgesuite.net/downloads/d3-installers/589acdb4-c6... ) is the installer in case somebody else wants to test this too.

This is no longer an option in the launcher in at least version 2.6.4.55430, thereby making this bug resolved.
The download link is still valid and the bug is still present. While it may be even less important now than before, the bug still exists and is reproducible, so this is probably worth keeping open.
