I have a clean Windows XP prefix and whenever I attempt to start Zafehouse:
Diaries, it crashes when attempting to start.

Have you tried any of the winetricks -q dotnet versions? Feels like mono bug.

I can confirm this bug using the demo (same crash). Indeed probably a mono-bug
as installing dotnet20 makes the app go further (a bit)

Let`s make this bug report about running the game in mono, i opened a new
bugreport about running the game using native dotnet (Bug 41926)

The current problem with the demo is tracked in bug 51584.

The problem reported here seems to be fixed.
