Bug ID: 37324 Summary: Buhl Data T@x 2014 installer crashes after entering of product-key. Product: Wine Version: 1.7.18 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: jasper_winebz@vogelclan.net
Created attachment 49634 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=49634 Crashdump
Standard wine 1.7 installation on Elementary OS 32bit from ppa-source.
I tried installing Buhl Data "T@x 2014" several times, but it keeps crashing after the first step of entering the product-key and klicking on 'weiter' (engl: 'next').
See attached crashdump for details. I'm no programmer, and couldn't find anything in particular in there to troubleshoot this issue. Maybe I'm Missing some libs or DLLs or anything like that?

--- Comment #1 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello Jasper,
I only found a trial version here:
https://www.buhl.de/produkte/alle/tax-2014/product.html#Testen_Sie_t_x___kos...
(action code: 'TTX2014')
Does it crash for you too after entering the code and clicking 'next' (try with action code and with product code separately)?
Please attach the console output.
Regards

--- Comment #2 from Jasper jasper_winebz@vogelclan.net --- Hi Anastasius!
sorry for the late reply ... had to install the app on windows due to the upcomming deadline for income-tax declaration tomorrow.
Anyway - in the Full-Version I can't enter the Trial-Key, since there are 5 fields for the product code (each for 5 letters) - an no place where I could enter the trial-key. Or did you enter the trial-key in the first two of those fields?
The odd thing is, that last years version installed just fine, and ran completely flawless (on Mint-Debian instead of Elementary-OS). Also I found a statement in the Wine App-DB that someone experienced the same for this years version. Which makes me think that I might be missing some essential libraries or something.
I supply any additional Info that might help to solve this issue :-).
