The setup.log file created by the installer says

[ResponseResult]
ResultCode=0

which according to 
http://helpnet.installshield.com/robo/projects/helplibdevstudio9/SetupLog.ht...
means success.  So for now you should probably ignore the win32 exit status
from setup.exe, and just use that log file's value instead.
