--- Comment #1 from Zebediah Figura z.figura12@gmail.com --- This kind of proposal is too vague to be meaningful. Exactly what would a "thin" prefix include, and what would it be useful for?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49866
--- Comment #2 from N acroq3@gmail.com --- DirectX .NET Framework .NET Core (if possible)
Current multimedia codecs (H264, MP3).

--- Comment #3 from Fabian Maurer dark.shadow4@web.de --- What's thin about that?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49866
--- Comment #4 from Zebediah Figura z.figura12@gmail.com --- This is still an extremely nonspecific answer, and what's more, it looks tailored to a specific application.

--- Comment #5 from N acroq3@gmail.com --- "tailored" to run modern browsers

--- Comment #6 from Zebediah Figura z.figura12@gmail.com --- (In reply to N from comment #5)
"tailored" to run modern browsers
Can you give justification for this?

--- Comment #7 from Olivier F. R. Dierick o.dierick@piezo-forte.be --- Hello,
Determining what is needed for a specific application is lot of work and can't possibly be done in the main Wine project (including Staging).
It would be a project on its own.
Marking invalid.
Regards.

--- Comment #8 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- Additionally, those are proprietary components that Wine can't/won't include.
